Chic and sleek... this shell-shaped dish is classically styled French Chinoiserie and features a lacquered black base with gold details. There is a "handle" at one end and beautifully scalloped edges. 

Measures 12"L x 10.5"D x 3"H. Some surface wear and fading has occurred. See images.
